Phoenix SCC have accredited facilitators that operate with the Cairns Safer Streets Spayc + Place program to provide free Netball, Basketball and Oztag clinics in the West Cairns Community. Utilising some of the Cairns City Council’s community parks and playgrounds the club engaged with a diverse range of young people and provided an outlet for kids to participate in fun activities.
Phoenix SCC provide a pathway for the young people identified in its community engagement programs with a passion for the sport into club competition. Our club mentors the recruits in a transition from the parks to our clubs. We ensure the young athletes attend training's and games and help them any way we can.
